i think while both isfjs and infps are "my dreams are only dreams" personalities (esp unhealthily) theyre fundamentally different
infps are more afraid that they're not reaching their full potential and/or never will. this leads to frequent cold feet to /do/ smth
once they realize it & practice it healthily, they can both set and reach achievable goals that they can feel proud of themselves for
isfjs on the other hand are more stuck in the "my dreams are only *dreams*" part. and quite often their dreams/goals are dreams that they've had for a long time but to some degree it then becomes foreign to them, unrealistic.
their cold feet is more realizing the potential--capability--/possibility/. when they're stuck in no inspiration, their dreams are senseless dreams. also, isfjs are naturally good at (& usually) micromanaging small capable aspects of their life while infps r more whimsical.
anyway in this sense both infps and isfjs get locked in their Dreams as Dreams so much but for infps its bc its uncomf to *do* smth

inxjs trust themselves to achieve/plan for their dreams (and do)
intps tell themselves this ^ but are lying
intps know how spur-of-the-moment they are even if it may not seem like they are (though it usually does)
isfps are similar to intps in this sense (tell themselves that they are Planners but trust themselves to improvise more than anything)
altho when it comes down to it isfps will have a natural ability to plan while intps will have a natural ability to be practical in their achievements... its just probably not what they would prefer to do (unless theyre stuck in a loop)

  • Es who mistype as Is: i need a lot of time alone so im an introvert
Is who mistype as Es: i like to talk so im an extrovert
  • mistyped exfjs: i think im an enfp??? but i also need a lot of time to myself so maybe i'm an I?? but i like adrenaline so maybe esxp?
  • isxjs who mistype as inxj: i am definitely an inxj!!!
inxj mistyped as isxj: i guess i can see myself as an isxj???
  • i think a lot of exfjs mistype themselves bc outside they look v much like an exfj but theyll feel more ixxx or exxp on the inside and i think thats bc e is often attributed to being "outgoing" but exxj is a completely different story from exxps. exfjs especially bc if an extj knows how... extj-ish they are their Fi will immediately love it LOL but exfjs can get overanalytical or underanalytical.......... • NJs are know-it-alls because it's /them/ (they trust themselves)
SJs are know-it-alls because of /facts/ (they trust the facts)

  • i feel like Si is "i live in a cesspool of information of things i already know and i trust the way i live based on that" while Se is "i live amongst the world and everything it can provide and show me and i trust the things that i can physically sense based on that". N users of course use these instincts secondarily but they're still complementary, i.e. Ne="i am aware of the things i will never find if i don't look""; Ni="i am aware that the things i cannot see can give me insight to the world"; "... so i search for them"
so NP & SJ users are either self-reliant/self-doubting from a judgmental perspective while SP & NJ are more from a perceiving one
"these are the way things are..." NP/SJ = "& this is how i figure/this is what i must do" SP/NJ = "& i work with it/how it will end"
  • i also am not sure where the "(low) Se users are clumsy" thing is coming from, i'm p sure Ne-users are [just as likely to be clumsy. the difference is that] Ne-users r clumsy & dont rly care while Se-users are [sometimes] less likely to be clumsy but more likely to be upset abt it if/when they are

  • esfp & enfp: i feel like there is a line of difference between esfp and enfp that ppl dont quite understand. esfp is the one who is Absolutely ready to do Whatever The Fuck Ever Literalyl Lets Do it while the enfp is the one firing off ideas without any natural inclination to do what is being suggested. tl;dr the esfp is about concrete impulsivity, enfp is abstract impulsivity
  • estp & estj: estps have a more "see what's going on" chill while estjs are more "see what could work" chill. uhh i'll use fictional examples here
since i actually havent thought of these as much as i should LOL. but e.g. daichi and kuroo from haikyuu - daichi's an estj and welcomes action-taking/decision-making (doing what's best for the team > cool leadership strength > realize that the best way to improve the team is to apply unconventional patterns (adapting with unique strengths) > carves & leads that path for the team) while with kuroo, esp w the "preserve your energy, ~keep the blood flowing~" slogan (and his high ability to do this) are v much the estp being Cool based on surroundings and detecting the patterns & systems while taking it easy. estjs i think may look more intense while estps Feel more intense, but they still both exert a similar Outwardly-Involved-But-Seemingly-Relaxed vibe. also although STs hold their emotions close, ESTPs still Look More Involved while ESTJs would Feel More Involved. not that these are mutually exclusive but more in terms of where the energy is going or coming from
  • esfj & isfj: isfjs are more concerned how people will take and accept their authentic self while esfjs are more concerned about Sharing their authentic self!! since esfjs main energy is so focused on supporting people in a conventional "motherly" fashion (katara, molly weasley, margaery, juliet o'hara) they can feel displaced sharing their Own feelings if they dont do it regularly while isfjs tend to be more... concerned about what kind of impression they'll make on people/being likable/making ppl feel comfortable while being themselves. however isfjs can exchange this energy for being as judgmental of people as they are of themselves while esfjs can prioritize themselves/others over Others based on judgments of absolution? also esfjs more easily welcome things outside their comfort zone while isfjs only go outside of their comfort zone out of stress/express random Ideas/Thoughts w ppl theyre v comfortable with (= under stress isxjs get severely worried abt unrealistic things, exfjs get severely analytical abt ppl's emotions/intentions)
  • enfj vs infj: interestingly enough i think infjs are the more (surface level seeming) outgoing of the I's while enfjs can seem the opposite!! i think inxjs in general don't have a lot of energy but like to seek out more while enxjs have a lot of energy but dont use it up in large amounts (the way enxps do.) if an infj is looking out for you (as nfjs are prone to do) you will know it by what they say, while with an enfj you'll know by what they do - in that infjs are full of advice they'll tell u w/o asking while enfjs will more adapt to your energy to help you in subtle ways (unless they want to intentionally be pushy.) enfjs' goals are things they keep close to themselves because they can improvise and modify quickly with their physical environment while still having the end clear to themselves in their heads; infjs can be more expressive in their goals and are more likely to try to manipulate physical situations to fit with their mental goals... they can get v stressed if it doesn't work while enfjs would get stressed if they end up hurting ppl they're trying to help (also similar to entjs, who would get stressed if their actions require them to Utilize Personal Feelings)
revision: enfjs dont noticeably Constantly Exert a lot of energy but thats bc they Depend on External Energy in which case an overabundance can be v exhausting for them & they'll need alone time to recharge... basically exxjs are reliant on the external environment (people/ideas/action/etc) for energy Input while exxps are more energy Output
  • enfp vs entp: entps tend to be less aware when they get into arguments than enfps. while both would probably say that they don't actively intentionally try to pick fights with people, enfps are in tune with the emotional physical environment and will subconsciously notice and react when discussion or atmosphere has turned combative/defensive/borderline conflict & will get intensely uncomfortable (as opposed to the enfj who will more naturally notice when *other* people will get/Are uncomfortable) enxps both have a lot of energy that they exert especially when around people that they're comfortable with, but being friends with an entp is noticing their emotional energy intensify (because they're more comfortable with you) while being friends with an enfp allows you to understand that they're more dynamic than their usual Bubbly Self.
ANYWAY ON THE ARGUMENT THING WHICH I ACCIDENTALLY VEERED OFF- entps would very likely (if not at all times) would hate to get into arguments/accidentally offend/Fight with people that they genuinely care about but as they have a very active enthusiasm for Understanding sometimes their awareness of it would get overlooked. in their heads they Understand People but if they are intellectually stimulated it's hard for people interacting with entps to realize they're not as socially or emotionally unaware as their bluntness/individual fascination might make them seem
also if an enfp gets into a fight it is actually intentional & out of personal values E.G. ALEXANDER HAMILTON IN HAMILTON:THE MUSICAL
  • entj & estj: i think a key difference between entj and estj is a usual difference between nts and sts - sts can more easier compartmentalize their emotions and distract themselves with something that doesn't require a lot of psychological investment, while nts i think more often need to distract themselves that takes the same amount and type of mental energy as whatever they're trying to suppress/deny/ignore in which case entjs tend to radiate a more "i deserve [power/result/etc]" while estjs can be more dismissive but also emotionally distant (in neither a better or worse way than an entj) in achieving end goals/making outward decisions.
  • istp & estp: i think istps feel more detached from their emotions than istjs but that's also why, when you know either of them well, an istp will be more... Concerned about their feelings & how it'll affect ppl arnd them while istjs exhibit more confidence about them
so the "cold calculating" istj will actually behave on/process their feelings with more ease than the istp. meanwhile its more likely u won't hear from an istp deliberately for Days bc theyre worried abt impacting ppl or expressing themselves
(i.e. why i think gladion is an istp rather than a considerable istj... he has trouble w his feelings but thus expresses an interest in caring for type null and only came back into the story when he was worried abt ppl getting hurt)
  • infj & enfj: on xnfjs: i think infjs are more actively interested in hanging out w people while enfjs are more interested in being alone w exceptions to ppl they know they like ofc (re:enfj) bc their fj energies are naturally focused the other way resulting in opposite cognitive interest.
    * if there is a clear (ni-Inspired?) opportunity for [infjs] to interact with or make new friends they will absolutely take it? like often replying to people or making plans w ppl if they're all free and the INFJ has the energy like a distinct focused charge on people but not necessarily a social capability just a constant mindful reaction-interaction. I also think that infjs may consider themselves quiet bc they tend to judge that based in large settings where socializing is expected of them and ixfjs can feel overwhelmed by the expectation so they are quieter in that sense... but on an individual basis (and esp with or around friends) they are very much more outgoing and try to engage on the same wavelength as others
  • infp & enfp: infps = wants 2 Do Things, focuses slowly
enfps = u think theyre flighty but 1sec later theyve done 40 things
  • infp & infj: the difference btwn infps & infjs:
infps = INTENSE SCREAMING, INTENSE CRYING
infjs = INTENSE SCREAMING IN AT U intense crying alone

  • i think fundamentally infjs understand people or at least constantly make active attempts to understand People as a whole + all those around them not just out of curiosity but they just intuitively seek, find, and understand how people work. a LOT of people mistype as infjs because of ixfj or the infx but isfjs and infps lack this subconscious ability and priority
