(a theory!)

nts want to be private and sometimes tell themselves that they're trying to be but ultimately are kind of bad at it i.e. while they like to see themselves and try to be private it's actually easy for ppl to understand and know them well bc nts are also kind of like... p intense to talk to

nfs understand the idea of privacy and there are defs parts of themselves that they'll keep to themselves but at the forefront they don't really care abt Exposing themselves the way nts might, i guess, and so a lot of ppl know them as well as they themselves do

sfs don't try to be private but they frequently don't really at least irl find an ease or necessity to express it as much as an nf would. they wouldn't be really even conscious of this lack of action/talking/need but basically they're like the opposite of the nt - nts want to be private but can still be easily understood by strangers if in the right circumstance/topic of discussion, while sfs don't really mind talking about/expressing themselves but unless it's like Really Important to them (as opposed to the nf where basically Most Things r important to them) they're kind of accidentally private? and only the ppl who they recognize as ppl they can Really Trust are the ones who Really understand them

and then the st is kind of... deliberately intentionally private. like ofc they'll have ppl they'll open up to and who'll understand them but at the forefront they give off some sort of aura where like, people will be able to talk about them Surface Level but not actually Understand them

I don't think there's any debate with this since Kageyama sort of fits the ISTJ personality mold; at the same time I don't like attributing to the idea that fitting a mold indicates that the mold is correct. So I'm going to break this down as "proof" to why Kageyama is an ISTJ.

Disclaimer: The last Haikyuu!! chapter I read was probably like 207, so I'm very behind with the manga.
