intj myths (a)

as a non intj, i really disagree with post (haha):



so! here's my revision of it.

- entjs are more likely to state they're going to take action, intjs usually just do w/o needing to make it known
- intjs are usually working toward a goal only they can see, istjs are more "dealing with the issue at hand" types
- if they don't know you well, infjs will still be more likely to talk you into a hole, while an intj won't bother
- both intjs + intps can be equally 'goofy', but an intj's will seem more impulsive while an intp's will occur and then stop suddenly like ur not sure if it really happened. also, intjs are more likely to do things that they are absolutely certain they can do because they have planned for everything that it has to be successful. while an intp may be equally ambitious, they more frequently throw caution to the wind, which on the other hand would freak an intj out.

Angelica Schuyler: ENTP

Angelica Schuyler in Hamilton the Musical is literally the most ENTP character I've ever seen. Not like any other clear ENTP characters (Joker in all Batmans, Shawn Spencer from Psych) are less or less clear ENTPs, but considering HTM is a musical and Angelica soliloquies for five solid minutes, it's practically explicit that she's an ENTP. I don't think it warrants analysis, but I like talking about it and also I've browsed some forums where people tried to think otherwise, so I suppose I don't mind pointing out the obvious.

(musical) Alexander Hamilton: ENFP

I've seen around a lot that Hamilton is an ENTJ (I also saw one type that had him as an INTJ) and that may be true for his real life historical counterpart. But in the musical, I'm more on board with the idea that he's an ENFP. Primarily he's definitely Ne leading and I can probably be persuaded for ENTP ESTJ (edit: I definitely think he operates with the Ne/Si/Fi/Te stack) Hamilton, but my interpretation of his character prefers him as an ENFP.
